| Inspector | Area commander and shift commander for major events. |
| Senior Sergeant | Manages a station and its sergeants. |
| Sergeant | Supervises a shift, runs training, and reviews arrests. |
| Senior Constable | Experienced officer who mentors new constables. |
| Constable | Frontline officer, fully trained. |
| Probationary Constable | Passed college, on their first patrols with a tutor. |
| Recruit | In training at the police college. |
Units
- General duties: frontline response to 111 and 105 calls.
- Highway patrol: road policing on the state highways.
- Armed Offenders Squad: high-risk and armed incidents.
- Criminal Investigation Branch: detectives for serious crime.
- Communications centre: takes 111 calls and dispatches units.
